Google AdWords’ PPC Marketing

by David on June 6, 2011

I’LL ADMIT, that if it wasn’t for PPC (pay-per-click) search marketing I might not have been able to get my voice over business up to the point where it is today.

I was early to adopt this idea of getting my message in front of the people who were searching for me, when they were looking for me. I was in fact using the Google service before it was called AdWords and when Google only had about 7% of internet searches going through their servers.

I’ve tried other PPC services: Overture, Yahoo! and now Bing but Google Adwords has always been in my opinion, the best bang for the buck.

These days they seem to be going out of their way to help us small business owners get the most out of our campaigns. My clietele are worldwide but even if you want to target just searches in your town or neighbourhood you can set it up that way.

If you haven’t tried a PPC service but would like to, Google Adwords has set-up a YouTube Channel for you to make sure you understand the ‘hows’ and the ‘benefits’ of using the Google pay-per-click service. I encourage you to peruse their videos whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro…you’ll learn something!

B!gShots Bottom Line: PPC marketing can be a boon to your small business. While getting up to speed can be trying, Google Adwords makes it easy.
